Welcome to the seminar "Migration Crisis and the City - global experiences and Latin American perspective", taking place on the 1st of December in Lima, Peru and online. 

The current migration crisis in Latin America, predominantly related to the mobility of Venezuelans, has significant effects on the continent. The researchers need to answer the need for knowledge of this phenomenon using new data, methods and approaches. During the seminar, the FUME findings from the qualitative and quantitative studies will be presented and interpreted in the migration context of Latin America.

About the seminar

The joint seminar is co-organised by the Institute of Peruvian Studies (IEP), Centre for Advanced Studies of Population and Religion (CASPAR) and the FUME project.
